Responsible for the overall planning and execution for all digital content and production leading up to the festival (stayed on an extra five months afterwards coordinating digital efforts). Oversaw the creative development, production, QA, delivery and maintenance for all projects.
MANAGED DIGITAL CONTENT & STAFF
Edited and assigned all digital content and production in the run-up to the annual festival in May (and five months beyond), including festival pages et al. web pages, e-mail newsletters & ticket blasts, infographics. Also edited all content for print and digital media. Oversaw digital team. Led efforts to develop new video-centric website, coordinating key stakeholders including top management, design and technical staff.
PRODUCED MULTIMEDIA CONTENT & OVERSAW SOCIAL MEDIA
Produced short-form videos (including one that got picked up for broadcast on WLIW/Channel 21). Extensively researched topics. Conducted on-camera interviews. Conceptualized visuals (including animations et al. graphic elements). In charge of social media production, engagement and curation through multiple platforms. Increased Facebook page likes by 95% in 10 months.
LIVE EVENT PRODUCER
Produced and hosted an evening of science and beer featuring CEO of Dogfish Head Ale and a Penn State biomolecular archaeologist. In charge of show flow, talent, and media. Worked with technical director and production manager to manage location and live production, which included videos, music, live discussions, the serving of beer tastings and food timed to the live talk.
