MULTI-PLATFORM MARKETING & ADVOCACY CAMPAIGN
Campaign aimed to raise money for the organization's efforts to fight climate change, educate the general public on the topic, and sign up "citizen co-sponsors" to the McCain-Lieberman Climate Stewardship Act. The campaign was a digital marketing push, incorporating TV advertisements, a live online Town Hall, interactive and media-rich content (including sharable and downloadable banners and wallpaper, educational web pages, videos, slideshows), rewards, and an online petition.
In collaboration with Green Team ad agency, coordinated with internal production resources and outside vendors in the development of integrated marketing project, producing content from rich media banners and shareable web buttons, to site design, to rewards promotions.
Co-managed the editorial content, including writing content for website and email blasts, developing regional impact summaries for different areas of the United States, creating slide shows and animations. Collaborated with scientists and other producers to produce web copy. Managed updates of web content.
Created video primers on global warming. Co-produced video shoots with EDF's President Fred Krupp et al. and voice-over sessions, co-wrote scripts, and conducted extensive research to acquire b-roll including model-T footage from the early 20th century.
