One of two digital writer/producers who produced the majority of web content for the organization with input from program, technical, and other communications staff. Coordinated with numerous departments across the organization to create and enhance web content to educate and grow membership base. Updated the group's main site daily, helped create numerous microsites and campaign sites. Produced digital content including interactives and videos.
Led the creation of online content. Created, co-created, produced, and implemented new page re-designs to integrate latest news and technology. Using many of the latest high-tech tools, helped create a virtual tour of Hetch Hetchy and helmed projects from the redesign of the corporate partnerships microsite, to the creation of a CFL guide Smithsonian magazine called "the best ... on the Internet."
Conducted extensive research on the science, economics, legal ramifications, and the general public's understanding of environmental issues including climate change, air pollution, wildlife recovery, and more. Wrote web, email and promotional copy, newsletter articles, brochures, and more. Produced rich and dynamic online media with an emphasis in integrated campaigns and media partnerships
PROJECT MANAGER & VIDEO PRODUCER
Conceived of an interactive guide to energy-saving lights, and spearheaded the development and production of what Smithsonian magazine would call "the best ... on the Internet." Worked with in-house writers/graphic designers to produce compelling and educational digital content. Produced, directed, shot & edited videos, including a tribute to the head of the California office. Produced live online classes with the group's chief scientist and high school teachers in Tennessee.
